Occupational Safety & Health Act
This course is designed to provide delegates with training on the principles and practices of occupational safety and health management within the hospitality industry, covering: - An introduction to the concepts of occupational safety and health management for an effective way of accident reduction/prevention. - Understand the requirements of JKKP/DOSH during the department’s Annual Audits. (JKKP/DOSH Checklists will be given) - To establish and enhance efficiency in Safety and Health Committee organization. - Identifying, Assessing and Controlling potential hazards/risks/Infection control at the workplace. - Analysis of why occupational safety and health management is an important business issue. - Understanding of the Occupational Safety & Health 1994 (Act 51) and its compliance. -Conduct safety inspections/audits and recommend corrective actions. WHO SHOULD ATTEND The program is specially designed for OSH Committee Members, Emergency Response Team, Dept Heads/Managers/Supervisors, Engineering/Housekeeping/Kitchen /Stewarding/Public Area and staffs from other departments.
