Shantini Thuraiselvam, CHIA, CFPCERT TM, is a Lecturer with Taylor’s University who obtained her Master degree in Finance from RMIT, Australia and a double bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance & Economics from Essex University, UK. She is currently in the final stages of obtaining her PhD in Business from Taylor’s University, Malaysia.

She has over 20 years of work experience in the public and private sectors in Malaysia. Throughout her career, she has been involved in the hotel industry, banking sector and field of education. A self-confessed data analysis nerd, Shantini’s areas of interest and specialization also include financial planning, investment planning and retirement planning. She acquired her Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) in 2015 and became a qualified Authorised Instructor in 2019.
